Wing walking has its roots in the early days of aviation, when reckless daredevils wowed the crowds with stunning displays of boldness and bravery. Now you too can join the ranks of the select few who have taken to the skies in style and pushed their courage to new limits.

With an audience of up to 50 family and friends, you will stage your own private air show from an airfield in Essex, strapped securely to the top wing of an authentic vintage Boeing Stearman biplane. The highly experienced pilot will take you through a pulse-pounding series of thrilling aerobatic manoeuvres, including low-level flypasts and a heart-stopping 500ft dive.

When it comes to pushing the envelope of excitement and testing the boundaries of your own courage, the wing walking experience really is the ultimate in extreme sports activities.

Wing walking gift vouchers

If you want to give someone special in your life a unique experience that they're sure never to forget, a wing walking gift voucher is the ideal choice.

A full safety briefing is given to each prospective wing walker, including in-depth training on breathing techniques, hand signals and the rigs and equipment that will be used. Due to the physical demands of the sport, all participants must be over 18 years of age, 12 stone 1lb (77kg) or under, and individuals over 65 years of age must provide a certificate of health from their doctor.

All wing walkers will be given a personalised certificate to mark their achievement after their show, and for an additional £25 they can also receive an inflight wingtip video recording of their flight so they can have a permanent record of their accomplishment.
